Workshop on BAETE Accreditation Policies and CO-PO Evaluation

A workshop on “Recent Revision of BAETE Accreditation Policies and CO-PO Evaluation” was organized by the Faculty of Science and Engineering, held at IQAC Auditorium, A-302, City Campus on July 16, 2019. The honorable Pro Vice Chancellor of Green University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, was the Chief Guest while Professor. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering chaired the event, Dr. Md. Zahidul Islam, Professor, Dept. of CSE and Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Associate Professor Dept. of EEE were the speakers of the program. Professor. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Chairperson Dept. of EEE and Professor. Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar, Distinguished Prof. & Chairperson Dept. of Textile Engineering attended the program as special guests. About 120 faculty members from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Textile Engineering, Green Business School and Language Center attended the workshop.

The speakers and discussants focused on various aspects of BAETE Accreditation Policies including Complex Engineering Problem Solution, Industry Attached Design Project, Final year Integrated research project, Industrial training, CO-PO evaluation, etc. The context was highly knowledge-full for all the faculty members. The chief guest Prof. Dr. Md. Fayyaz Khan advised all faculty members to follow OBE guidelines for teaching and learning of their assigned courses. The chair of the session, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque thanked all the participants for their active presence. He also expressed gratitude to Director, IQAC for sponsoring this workshop.
