5th International Conference on Sustainable Technologies for Industry 5.0 (STI 2023) is going to organized at Green University of Bangladesh
The “Meet the Press” event of the 5th International Conference on Sustainable Technologies for Industry 5.0 (STI) 2023 was held on December 5, 2023 (Tuesday) in the seminar room of the Green University of Bangladesh.
Twenty journalists from Television, news portals, and national newspapers attended the press conference. Apart from that, a few more media outlets cover the event.
Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, the Honorable Organizing Chair of the Conference and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, attended the event as a chief guest. Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, the Honorable Chair of the Technical Program Committee (TPC) of the Conference and Chairperson, Dept. of EEE, and A.prof. Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahaman, the Honorable Chair of the Publication Committee and Chairperson, Dept. of CSE joined as a special guests. Both spoke on the importance, outcome, and necessity of the conference. They went into great depth on the conference’s general development, every element, and its significance to Bangladeshi academics. They ultimately pleased the journalist by responding to a range of inquiries.
Dr. Molla Shahadat Hossain Lipu, chair of the Promotion and Branding Committee and honorable director of the Green University Centre for International Affairs (GCIA), gave a PowerPoint presentation that was centered around a few specific papers that will be presented during the conference and are very significant from a Bangladesh perspective.
In his address, Professor Dr. Md. Saiful Azad stated that whereas the Industrial Revolution 4.0 to 5.0 took place in about 10 years, the Industrial Revolution 1.0 to 2.0 took 200 years. He stated that a great deal of research has been done on many facets of the Industrial Revolution all around the world, including in Bangladesh. Nevertheless, the results are frequently not applicable in real-world scenarios. Using it as a platform, the conference seeks to discuss these issues and move towards solutions where STI acts as a platform.
