Inaugural Ceremony of IEEE Computer Society Student Branch at Green University of Bangladesh
IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter Green University of Bangladesh celebrates its Inaugural ceremony on 10th July 2019, at Green Seminar Hall at city campus. The Chief Guest of the event was Professor Dr. Mohammad Shorif Uddin, Chair, IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sohel Rahman, Treasurer, IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter gave a keynote speech on Ethics in Artificial Intelligence. Mr. Md. Shahid Ullah, Treasurer GUB also gave his notable speech. Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice-Chancellor of GUB chaired the ceremony. Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering encouraged all students to engage more in technical activities under the umbrella of IEEE CS. In his welcome speech, he also inspired the non-member students of engineering faculty to join this world class society. Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Chairman, EEE, Professor. Dr. Md. Zahidul Islam along with some faculty members from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering were present to enhance the glory and color of the ceremony. IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter Green University of Bangladesh branch Counselor, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahaman department of CSE, Mentor Mr. Md. Mahin, Lecturer, Dept. Of CSE. Mentor Md. Hasan Maruf Assistant Professor Dept of EEE, Mentor Ahmed al Mansur Assistant Professor Dept of EEE were also present in the opening ceremony. About 120+ students from different engineering departments participated in the function.
