Submission Guideline:

• Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the conference. It is required that the manuscript follows the standard IEEE format (IEEE standard double column, 10-point font).
  
• Submitted paper should be in PDF format and should be of 4-6 pages
• Submissions must include title, abstract, keywords, body and references.
• Due to double-blind peer review requirement, paper must not contain author and affiliation information.
• The IEEE templates in Microsoft Word and LaTeX format can be found at: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html

Camera-Ready Paper Submission Guidelines:

• IEEE TEMPLATE: Please use the IEEE templates to prepare your camera-ready paper for STI-2019. The IEEE templates in Microsoft Word and LaTeX format can be found at: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html

• AUTHORS NAME and AFFILIATIONS: Please add all authors with affiliations according to IEEE Template (Please use single block instead of n-blocks, front page sample is attached here) for the conference and do not add page numbers.

• FOOTER: Please add one IEEE Copyright Code according to the following conditions (usually it will be 978-1-7281-6099-3/19/$31.00 ©2019 IEEE) at the footer of the 1st page only (left column) of the paper.

• For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-6099-3/19/$31.00 ©2019 Crown

Registration Guideline:
    The following registration fees will be applied to all the participants(Authors/Attendees) of STI 2019

• If an author has multiple accepted papers, the author has to pay full registration fee for the first paper, 50% of the regular registration for the second and onward papers.
• Please note that you have to upload the following documents in order to avail the special discounted registration fee. You have to upload these documents through the online registration portal
• *Student Category Discount – Proof of current studentship from the enrolled institution
• ** IEEE Membership Category Discount – Proof of IEEE membership
• Each of the registered participants can obtain conference kits, technical proceedings, admissions to all sessions including opening ceremony, keynotes, invited talks, technical/poster sessions, tutorials (if any), welcome reception, prize giving ceremony, conference banquet, and coffee breaks. We shall also arrange round trip transport facilities for all registered participants from (and to) Kuril to GUB permanent campus at scheduled time periods.
• Please note that the papers under Track 3: Textile Engineering and the POSTER papers will not be sent to IEEE for uploading into Digital Library, the title, author information and Abstract will be published in hard copy proceedings only. Thus, the registration fee will be Tk. 1500/=(USD 20 for foreign authors) less than the regular fees for General Author.

Poster Presentation Guidelines:
All posters will be on display during specified time period declared in program schedule of the conference. You will need to hang your poster up by 12.15 PM on 25 December 2019. In addition, you must stand by your poster during your INTERACTIVE POSTER PRESENTATION SESSION (IPS); otherwise, you will be counted as a no show.

Your poster should cover the KEY POINTS of your work. The ideal poster is designed to:

• Attract attention
• Provide a brief overview of your work
• Initiate discussion and questions

The title of your poster should appear at the top in CAPITAL letters about 25mm (1″) high. Use color to highlight and make your poster more attractive including pictures, diagrams, cartoons, figures, etc., wherever possible rather than only text.

The author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) are put below the title.

The size of your poster on thick art paper will be 36 inch in height and 24 inch in width. Your poster cannot exceed the maximum size allowed.

You must take down your poster immediately after the end of the poster session. Organizing committee of STI will not be responsible for lost poster(s). Poster boards will be provided by STI along with pins / tape to attach your poster.

There will be a "Best Poster" award for poster authors presenting their works. The posters will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will not only take into account the quality of the display but also the content of the work by asking a series of questions to the author(s). It is therefore necessary to be as ready for your poster presentation as you would be for an oral presentation.
